Living life to the fullest

People from different fields, like actors, musicians, sportspersons, scientists, and leaders, have inspired us in so many ways. Most of the inspirational stories are about people who have faced a lot of struggles and failures, but they never gave up on themselves. They succeeded because they never stopped trying. Each one of us has the ability to inspire and be successful. The only way is to work hard, embrace every failure as a lesson for life, be completely honest and never give up.

I came across this story of a beautiful person who inspired me in so many ways. He is Nicholas James Vujicic. After watching his motivational speech video, I was curious to know more about him. And I found that he was born with tetra-amelia syndrome. He has a rare disorder characterized by the absence of arms and legs. Vujicic has two small and deformed feet. He had to undergo an operation to separate the toes so that he could use them as fingers to grab or perform day to day functions.

He is a motivational speaker and an author. Even with the shortcomings of living life without limbs, he tries to lead a normal life like everyone else. His positivity and the way he looks at life are truly amazing and this is something we all should learn from him. We just need to believe in ourselves and always look forward to bring out the best in ourselves and everyone around us.

Today, children and youth are ready to give up their life easier for reasons like failed relationships and academics. If that is not enough reason, we have the Blue Whale game to top it all. We need to teach our children and youth to embrace failures and take things in their stride. Just be true to yourself and have a positive attitude. Failure is just temporary; life is way beyond running behind success and crying about failures. It is to live beyond all kinds of limitations. I would like to conclude with this quote by author Ashe “Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome”.
